Bonneville Football Academy Leadership Team

Jill Todd has spent the last decade working in education with a focus on marketing, social media, event planning, and fundraising. She has volunteered with countless nonprofit organizations and served on many boards of directors. In November 2021, Jill founded the Bonneville Football Academy (BFA), with its first season kicking off in 2022. Her inspiration stemmed from observing a direct link between extracurricular activities and improved academic performance in low-income schools.
Drawing from her experience in launching a middle school sports program and a K-8 performing arts department at a Title 1 school, Jill discovered that student engagement and success in extracurricular activities positively impacted classroom performance. She firmly believes in providing all students with the opportunity for a college education, emphasizing to her athletes that while they love football, it serves as a vehicle towards achieving the ultimate goal of higher education, which can transform their lives.
As the CEO of BFA, Jill focuses on marketing student athletes and the academy, building business partnerships, managing community relations, organizing events, and overseeing day-to-day operations. Additionally, she is the president of the Bonneville Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing scholarships to deserving student athletes, offering athletic opportunities to underprivileged youth, and supporting youth organizations and schools within the communities BFA serves.
Jill also leads the Bonneville Sports Academy, mentoring other post-graduate programs across the U.S. to help them become sustainable and successful. This initiative includes expanding BFA to other areas, student marketing, and organizing camps and combines. She owns JM Marketing, which supports small businesses and educational entities.
Through her blog and website, “Helmet and Heels,” Jill inspires women to achieve their dreams and balance their lives with style and grace.
Jill studied Marketing at Kirkwood College in Iowa, where she is originally from.
