Hundred Yard Heroes

Where Business Leaders Become Lifelines.

Somewhere between the classroom and the end zone is a young man who needs one person to believe in him. Hundred Yard Heroes: powered by Bonneville Football Academy and The Bonneville Foundation invites businesses and community leaders like you, to be that difference. Your $100 turns into real-world wins: safe equipment, safe and clean housing, academic tutoring, a hot meal before a game, a ride to a college visit or game, elite training and coaching to move to the next level and MORE!

This isn’t just funding football … you’re fueling futures, helping low-income and at-risk young men trade setbacks for college opportunities, one yard, one young life at a time.

Bonneville Football Acacdemy

At Bonneville Football Academy, we meet young men standing at the fifty-yard line of life, full of potential, but with the college door cracking shut. They’ve graduated high school, yet shifting college dynamics (transfer portal, NIL, shrinking roster spots) leave many overlooked.

We give them a way forward.

BFA is a post-grad bridge program that transforms talent into opportunity. We pair high-level football training with academic support, mentorship, and real recruiting exposure, so our student-athletes can earn a college roster spot and a college education. Season after season, our players move from “almost” to “I’m in,” because we develop the whole person: on the field, in the classroom, and in character.

Our standard is clear: every young man who trusts us with his dream should leave with a real college opportunity.

The Bonneville Foundation

The Bonneville Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) dedicated to breaking barriers for under-resourced and at-risk youth.

In partnership with BFA, we level the playing field so that talent—not income—determines opportunity

Together, we ensure that deserving student-athletes have a fair shot at higher education through the structure, mentorship, and discipline of the game we love.

The Hundred Yard Heroes Campaign

Some futures are decided by small things: a bus ride to a campus visit, a tutor before the ACT, a safe helmet that actually fits, a hot meal after practice.

Hundred Yard Heroes rallies the community to make those small things possible in a big way. Our goal is simple and powerful: 1,000 businesses and community leaders x $100—that’s $100,000 directly fueling scholarships, academic resources, college counseling, safe equipment, nutrition, and travel for campus visits and showcases!

Your $100 can become:

  • A test fee and study pack for a college-qualifying score
  • A safe set of pads or cleats for a player who can’t afford them
  • A gas card to get to a workout, practice, or campus visit
  • A highlight edit and outreach to college coaches
  • A week of team meals so no one competes on an empty stomach
  • Safe housing for players from out of the area
  • Elite coaching and training to move these young men to college level fields (and campuses!)

When you become a Hundred Yard Hero, you’re not “sponsoring football”—you’re opening a door for a young man who’s ready to run through it.
