WHY BONNEVILLE FOOTBALL ACADEMY?

 Who We Are?

Located In Maitland, Florida (suburb of Orlando),  Bonneville Football Academy (BFA) is a College Prep Program created for student athletes who require another year to develop their portfolio academically and/or on the gridiron. Our program offers an enthusiastic daily schedule consisting of academics, internships, leadership development through community service and player development to get the athletes college ready. 

WHAT IS A “POST-GRADUATE” YEAR?

A post-graduate, or “PG year”, is time between graduation from high school and matriculation at a college or university. A PG year is offered at many independent schools throughout the country and usually involves a residential experience. In the case of Bonneville Football Academy, “the PG year” is only one semester. Our program runs from August until November.

HOW DO STUDENTS BENEFIT FROM A POST-GRADUATE YEAR?

Bonneville Football Academy provides the key to the success of a PG year. Our weekly schedule is designed to develop the skills a student-athlete needs to meet the challenges of an athletically charged college experience.   BFA's program includes academics, internships, leadership development through community service and extensive football training and development. 

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY COLLEGE ELIGIBILITY WHEN I ATTEND BFA?

 WHAT ARE THE CHANCES MY STUDENT-ATHLETE EARNS A SCHOLARSHIP TO A FOUR YEAR SCHOOL?

While there is no guarantee of an offer when a student enrolls in any prep school, we do guarantee you will be seen by many (FBS, FCS, D2, D3, NAIA).    High school athletes are put in position to help their team win, not necessarily the best place for them to get recruited or succeed at the college level.  A post-grad program can help athletes prove they can play another position.   Also, some players just need time to get a little better. Skill development is a huge focus at BFA. The coaches are able to spend ample time on weight training and field practice to develop their athletes. 

HOW WILL MY STUDENT-ATHLETE GET HIS FILM SEEN AND GET RECRUITED?

We will set your student-athlete up with a marketing profile.  Every week his practice and game film will be sent to schools. BFA uses an app/program for the creation of highlight tapes, film breakdown, film study, and recruiting. Players have access to the account  so they can create their highlights and have a presentable professional “resume” for college coaches. Our players will have access to the connections and relationships we have built over time as a program. Many colleges will stop through our office on their recruiting trips to high schools in Orlando area.

While each student may have a different path to reach their chosen aspirations, our staff will Educate, Train, & Inspire each student athlete they encounter.
